About NY2CA Gallery
Welcome to NY2CA Gallery, a vibrant and inclusive art space nestled in the heart of Benicia, California. Founded by Vickie Marchand and Twigg, the gallery is the result of a bold move from New York to California, driven by a shared vision of creating a haven for artistic expression. The gallery’s mission is rooted in celebrating creativity, fostering community, and offering diverse local California artists the opportunity to showcase their work in an engaging and supportive environment.
Our Story
NY2CA Gallery embodies the fusion of two vibrant creative worlds: the pulse of New York’s energy and the free-spirited innovation of California’s artistry. Committed to celebrating diversity, we curate exhibitions that amplify distinct voices and styles across a rich array of two-dimensional and three-dimensional mediums. Every seven weeks, the gallery undergoes a transformation, presenting fresh exhibitions that spotlight the talents of individual artists or thoughtfully paired artist duos, creating a seamlessly curated and engaging showcase.
Our Mission
At the core of NY2CA’s philosophy is a deep belief in the transformative power of art. We strive to connect artists with audiences and foster meaningful exchanges through artist talks, workshops, and community events.
