For a quiet, focused experience with the work, we welcome private appointments through March 22.
Jan Blythe’s sculptural works explore drapery, gravity, and material transformation. Textile becomes structure. Canvas becomes architecture. Scale is used not for spectacle, but for quiet authority within a space.
Industrial and domestic materials are altered through hand process. Aluminum foil, resin, enamel, cotton — ordinary materials elevated into sculptural presence. Surface becomes light-responsive, shifting throughout the day.
Compression and expansion form a material dialogue. Dense sculptural mass contrasts with vertical line. Metallic surfaces interact subtly within contemporary interiors, offering texture without visual noise.
Private viewing available by appointment.
