Visitors pose with NY2CA Gallery’s ‘Art Ghoul,’ our award-winning entry in the Benicia Scarecrow Contest.
Halloween in downtown Benicia was filled with laughter, creativity, and just the right amount of fright — and our team at NY2CA Gallery was thrilled to be part of the fun!
This year, we conjured up our very own Art Ghoul for the annual Scarecrow Display & Contest — a ghostly figure draped in tattered grey, framed by creativity (literally!), and surrounded by curious little visitors and brave trick-or-treaters.
Throughout the week, families stopped by to take photos, share smiles, and pose with our creepy creation. Seeing kids and art lovers alike interact with the display was pure Halloween magic — and it reminded us why we love being part of this vibrant, creative community.
We’re beyond excited to share that our Art Ghoul took 2nd Place in the Gallery Category! 🥈
A huge thank-you to everyone who voted for us, snapped a selfie, or simply stopped to admire the handiwork. Your enthusiasm (and your costumes!) made the whole experience come alive.
Here’s to a community that celebrates art in every form — even the kind that’s a little spooky. 🎃
We’re already dreaming up ideas for next year’s creation… and it might just raise a few more spirits.
