What a show! Even a few surprise bursts of rain couldn’t stop the laughter — we simply brought the party inside to the NY2CA Gallery, filled every seat, and kept the energy electric.
Stand Up for the Arts was nearly a sell-out and an unforgettable afternoon of comedy, community, and generosity. Headliner Chelsea Bearce delivered her signature sharp (and sometimes pointy) humor — no one was safe! — and was joined by two other wild and wonderful comedians who kept the crowd in stitches from start to finish.
Between the belly laughs, the bidding, and the cheers, our live art auction was a huge success — raising vital funds that bring us one step closer to our goal for the upcoming 2026 Benicia Arts Festival. The room was buzzing with laughter, art, and that unmistakable Benicia spirit that thrives rain or shine.
A heartfelt thank-you to everyone who came out, donated, volunteered, or lifted their glass in support of the arts. You turned a rainy Sunday into something extraordinary — a celebration of creativity, connection, and community at its best.
✨ Here’s to laughter, art, and the unstoppable heart of Benicia.
With gratitude,
