Big Woody Design is the fulfillment of a lifelong passion for creating with wood. It starts with a profound admiration for trees and their diverse role in the quality of our planet’s life. The exotic woods I choose have unique strength, color, and grain patterns. The art presents itself to me in an organic manner that then becomes a unique cutting board, treasured toy, plant propagator or any of a variety of kitchen accessories or musical instruments. I feel fortunate to regenerate life into the woods by creating legacy pieces that can be gifted or handed down to future generations.
